The Internet was made for Genealogy! I know this isn’t how the Internet came about, but it is a wonderful tool for family historians. Early on in the history of the Internet, genealogists learned that they could share information and research information through this medium. There are some fantastic sites out there now that have unbelievably large electronic databases. They include billions of photographs of first hand records. Who would have ever thought that when we got head-over-heals into this hobby, that one day we could stay at home to find our ancestors. How cool is that?
